Blues Zip Up Jackets

David Perron's sixth goal of the year provided the difference in the Blues' 2-1 victory over the visiting Blue Jackets. Chris Stewart lit the lamp for his seventh of the season as St. Louis ended a two-game skid to move to 10-6-and-2. Jaroslav Halak made 19 saves to pick up the victory. Matt Calvert scored shorthanded late in the second period for Columbus. Sergei Bobrovsky stopped 21 shots for the Blue Jackets, who have dropped four out of five to fall to 5-11-and-2.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Seth Schenck. The New Haven Junior won the state title in the the 800 meter run at Lincoln University in Jefferson City. Seth also took second in the 1600 meter run and anchored the 4X800 relay team that captured seventh place. Seth also played basketball and ran cross country in his junior year at New Haven. He is also a very good student.
