Blues Sign Cracknell, Cole

The Blues have signed forward Adam Cracknell and defenseman Ian Cole. Cracknell has inked a one-year contract. The 27-year-old had two goals and four assists in 20 games this past season. The 24-year-old Cole has agreed to a two-year deal. The 2007 first-round draft pick has two goals and nine assists in 67 career NHL games.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Sophomore Baseball Player Drew Reed with the Union Wildcats. Drew is off to a terrific start to the season. In ten official at bats, Drew has an average of .700, seven hits, five singles and two doubles, and leads the team with six runs batted in. Number one position is catcher, but coach Ryan Bailey will also use him as a pitcher.
