Maxim Lapierre scored the first goal for St. Louis, which has won five of six. The Blues are three points up on Anaheim for the best record in the West and are tied with the Boston Bruins with 111 points. Brian Elliott halted 24 shots in net for the victors. The Blues host the Avalanche tomorrow.
