Blues Double Up Coyotes

Newly-acquired goaltender Ryan Miller made 23 saves in net as the Blues doubled up the Coyotes 4-2 in Glendale. Miller and forward Steve Ott both played their first game after being traded by Buffalo on Friday. Patrik Berglund scored twice during the four-goal third period for St. Louis, which stopped a two-game slide. Mike Smith allowed all the goals on 30 shots in the loss. Paul Bissonnette and Jeff Halpern each scored for Phoenix, which has lost four in-a-row.

What happened? It's a classic case of two all-too-common phenomena in the world of government--unintended consequences and the revolving door.
