Blues Blank Preds

Jaroslav Halak had to make just 13 saves for his second shutout of the season and 24th of his career, as the Blues blanked the Predators 3-0 at Scottrade Center. Patrik Berglund tallied a goal and an assist, while T.J. Oshie and Vladimir Tarasenko also lit the lamp for the Note, which bounced back from its first loss of the season and improved to 3-and-1. Pekka Rinne allowed all three goals on 24 shots for Nashville, which fell to 1-1-and-2.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is 5-6 Freshman Basketball Player Cassidy Moss from St. Francis Borgia Regional High School in Washington. Cassidy was named the Most Valuable Player of the Sullivan Tournament last week and was an important part of Borgia's run to the title. She is averaging 15 points and 2.5 rebounds, more than three assists and two steals per game.
