Blues Blank Devils Behind Halak

Jaroslav Halak stopped each of the 23 shots he faced to post his fourth shutout of the year as the Blues downed the Devils 3-0 at the Scottrade Center. It's Halak's 28th career shutout and helped St. Louis win its third straight game. Alexander Steen scored his 27th goal of the year early in the first while Brenden Morrow and Maxim Lapierre tacked on goals in the third. The Blues are at Carolina on Friday.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is 5-6 Freshman Basketball Player Cassidy Moss from St. Francis Borgia Regional High School in Washington. Cassidy was named the Most Valuable Player of the Sullivan Tournament last week and was an important part of Borgia's run to the title. She is averaging 15 points and 2.5 rebounds, more than three assists and two steals per game.
