Blues Agree To Terms With Berglund

The Blues are bringing forward Patrik Berglund back. The "St. Louis Post-Dispatch" reports the team has agreed to a one-year contract with the restricted free-agent. The report indicates that the pact is worth $3.25-million-dollars. The 25-year-old Berglund appeared in all 48 games for the Blues this past season and finished second on the team with 17 goals. He was selected in the first round of the 2006 NHL draft by St. Louis.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Borgia Freshman Golfer Thomas Alferman. Alferman is a member of the Borgia team that qualified for the state tournament at Silo Ridge in Boliver this week. In the district tournament at the Sullivan Country Club, Thomas shot a 13 over par 84 helping the team to a second place finish.
