Blues Agree To Deal With Stewart

The St. Louis Blues have avoided arbitration with restricted free-agent forward Chris Stewart by agreeing to a two-year contract. The 25-year-old played in all 48 games for the Blues last season, logging 18 goals and 18 assists. Stewart added one assist in the Blues' first-round playoff loss to the Kings. He was the 18th overall pick by Colorado in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft and has 100 career goals and 102 assists with the Avs and Blues.
