Billikens Cruise Past UT Martin, 73-51

The backcourt tandem of Jordair Jett and Mike McCall Jr. combined for 31 points, and Saint Louis used a hot-shooting first half to dispose of UT Martin 73-51 Saturday night at Chaifetz Arena. The victory gave the Billikens (6-3) a season-high three-game winning streak heading into Wednesday night's home game against Eastern Illinois (7 p.m. tip). UT Martin of the Ohio Valley Conference slipped to 3-8 with its third straight loss and fifth defeat in six outings.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Freshman Cross Country Runner Julia McIntyre from New Haven High School. Julia finished sixth in the state meet in Jefferson City with a time of 20:58.40 at the Oak Hills Golf Course in Jefferson City earlier this month. She helped her team to a 12th place finish. Julia was a straight A student at Franklin County R-2 and she continues to get A's in high school.
