Beltran, Wainwright Strong In Cards' Win Over Mets

Adam Wainwright and Carlos Beltran were both strong for the Cardinals in Tuesday's 11-4 win over the Mets. Wainwright allowed two runs in six innings and picked up the win in his final tuneup before Opening Day. Beltran saw his first Grapefruit League action in nearly a month after nursing an injured toe and reached base three times. St. Louis will host the Nationals in Jupiter today.
