49ers Bounce Back With Rout Of Rams

Colin Kaepernick threw for 167 yards and two touchdowns as the 49ers bounced back with a 35-11 rout of the Rams in St. Louis. Sam Bradford finished 19-of-41 for 202 yards with a TD, but threw an interception, lost a fumble and was sacked five times. Daryl Richardson was limited to 16 yards on 12 carries for the Rams, who managed just 188 yards of offense. St. Louis is 1-and-3.

Rams rookie safety T.J. McDonald suffered a major leg injury in the third quarter of a 35-11 loss to the 49ers Thursday. NFL.com reports that he suffered a fractured leg. McDonald was a third-round draft pick who has been a starter all season. He was fitted for an air cast and carted off the field. Cornerback Cortland Finnegan left early in the game with a thigh injury and did not return.
