She helped the team capture the championship of the 60th Annnual Hermann Tournament with a two set win over St. Francis Borgia last week. Amanda described the title win as the highlight of her high school career to this point. She will play volleyball at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, where she will study nursing.

Teheran scattered five hits and fanned six to improve to 11-and-8. Daniel Castro homered, tripled, and scored twice to lead Atlanta. Jaime Garcia gave up two runs over four frames to take the loss for St. Louis, which rested most of its regular starters.
