Washington Post 218 ended pool play at the Washington Invitational Tournament with an undefeated record, sweeping a doubleheader with Mayfield and Farmington on Friday night at Ronsick Field. Washington capitalized on an error-filled seventh inning by Mayfield Kentucky en route to a 12-2 victory in the first game. Mayfield committed five errors in the inning while Washington scored nine runs.

In Game 2, Washington rallied to a 4-2 victory over Farmington. Washington tied the game in the seventh with an RBI double from Nathan Hillermann, and added two runs in the eighth to take the lead for good. Now 11-6 on the year.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is 6-0 Senior Forward Megan Jensen with the St. Francis Borgia Girls Basketball Team. Megan scored 24 points leading Borgia to a 52-47 win over Cardinal Ritter in the championship game of the Borgia/Competitive Edge Tournament Saturday afternoon. In three tournament games last week. Megan scored 63 points and earned MVP honors.

Denver Bronco fans are celebrating their team's dominating 24-10 win over the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50. Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning tells ABC's "Good Morning America" he celebrated late into the night. Manning lifted the Lombardi Trophy for the second time in his career in what might have been his final game. Manning turns 40 next month and is expected to retire.
