The Sullivan Eagles climbed to sixth place with a team score of 652. MICDS-Country Day won state with a 617. Sullivan results: Drew Armstrong-18th with a 156. Ryan Juergens-44th with a 164. Tyler Carrico-47th with a 165. Gavin Yociss-63rd with a 169 and Justin Biermann finished 74th wtih a 173.

Borgia sent two golfers to state: Clayton Voss tied for 58th with a two day total of 168 and Alex Rennick tied for 87th with a 181.

Brendan Jett-Kell of Pacific tied for 85th with a 179.

Ethan Luecke of Warrenton took third place with a 145.

From Hermann, Austin Ruediger tied for 14th with a 159 and Collin Hart tied for 54th with a 173.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Ross Seitter with the Washington Senior American Legion Baseball Team. Seitter's batting average is .355 with an on-base percentage of .481. He is second on the team in stolen bases with 16 and he hasn't been thrown out this year. Ross bats second in the lineup with 26 rbi's and 45 runs scored.

The 64 American Legion Baseball teams who won their state tournament will now compete in their respective division's regional tournament today through Sunday. One team from each region will advance to the Legion's 89th World Series, August 13th through 18th in Shelby, North Carolina.
