The Southeastern Conference will have nine postseason bowl games for its teams beginning with the 2014 season. The deals extend for six years and coincide with the new College Football Playoff that starts that season. The Capital One Bowl will have the first pick. There is also a pool of six bowls comprised of renewals with the Outback Bowl, Music City Bowl, Gator Bowl and Liberty Bowl as well as new agreements with the Texas Bowl and Belk Bowl. The SEC is also renewing its relationship with the Birmingham Bowl and the Advocare V100 Bowl.
