Richardson Named Rams Starting RB

Rams head coach Jeff Fisher has decided on a starting running running back. Second-year pro Daryl Richardson will be the lead tailback. He is replacing St. Louis great Steven Jackson. Richardson ran for 475 yards on 98 carries last year. He also caught 24 passes for 162 yards. Richardson beat out fellow second-year back Isaiah Pead, who was picked five rounds earlier than him in the 2012 draft. Rookie Zac Stacy was also in the mix.
