Rams' Long Recovering From Knee Surgery

St. Louis Rams offensive tackle Jake Long is recovering from major knee surgery. The "Post-Dispatch" reports he recently had the procedure to repair a torn ACL in his right knee after a torn MCL healed on its own. Long was injured during the Rams' Week 16 win over Tampa Bay and missed the season finale. The four-time Pro Bowler and former number-one pick signed a four-year deal with the Rams last March after five years with the Miami Dolphins.
