Rams Fall To Fins

The Rams preseason came to a conclusion with a 14-13 loss to the Dolphins at Sun Life Stadium. Michael Sam made six tackles, five of which were solo as he fights for a spot on the 53-man roster. St. Louis finished the preseason 1-and-3. The Rams open the regular season a week from Sunday at home against the Vikings.

Michael Sam will soon find out if his NFL dream is a reality. The rookie defensive end is trying to become the first openly gay player to make an NFL roster. Teams must trim down from 75 players to the final 53-man roster by tomorrow. Sam was drafted out of Missouri back in May.

If you want to get someone's attention, whisper. That old investment brokerage ad is the opposite of what is going on regarding shootings in Ferguson and Tower Grove. When people threaten violence or blankly label one as a racist, it's very hard to listen. The same holds true for those who sum up the plight of impoverished black communities as "that's how those people are."
