Mizzou Falls to Vandy

Rod Odom scored a career-high 24 points, hitting six three-pointers, as the Vanderbilt Commodores beat Missouri 78-75 in Nashville. Vandy snapped a two-game skid and improved to 9-and-6 overall. Jabari Brown added 22 points for the Tigers, who have lost two of three. Mizzou is now 13-and-3 overall and 1-and-2 in SEC play.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Union Senior Bethany Coons. Bethany finished the basketball season at Union averaging 11 points and eight assists per game. Coach Dusty Weiskopf says Bethany is good at handling the basketball and teams would find it difficult to press Union when Bethany was in the game because of her lateral movement. When combining her scoring and assist averages, Bethany was contributing about 25 points per game.
