Missouri Tops South Carolina

Earnest Ross had 21 points and 10 rebounds off the bench to lead Missouri in a 71-65 win over South Carolina last night. Alex Oriakhi added 18 points with 11 boards for the Tigers, who improved to 14-and-4 on the season with a 3-and-2 record in the SEC. Mizzou returns to action Saturday at home against Vanderbilt.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Senior Baseball Player Spencer Juergens from St. Francis Borgia Regional High School in Washington. Spencer is the Ace of the pitching staff with a 4-0 record. He has given up just one run this season and currently sports an earned run average of .33. Spencer has allowed 11 hits in 21 innings but no extra base hits. He has struck out 16 while walking two for a strike out to walk ratio of 8.1.
