Missouri High School Fishing Championship

For the first time in fishing history, Missouri high schools are coming together to see who is the best. Over $10,000.00 in scholarship money will be awarded to the winning clubs after the tournament held at Long Creek Marina on Table Rock Lake, just south of Branson. 55-two man teams from 16 schools will compete. Competition days are June 7th and 8th, 7:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

The Washington Seniors will play in the Central Plains Regional this week, despite taking second in the state tournament in Sedalia over the weekend. With Iowa unable to put together the required 12-man roster for the tournament, two teams from Missouri get to go.
