Washington vs. Timberland. Aaron Meyer outdueled Kyle Stevens and the Jays rallied in the eighth inning to knock off the top seeded Wolves 3-0 at Timberland High School. The game was scoreless at the end of seven, but Austin Finder led off the eighth with a walk. A single and two walks later, Washington found themselves on top 1-0. A suicide squeeze and a balk made it 3-0 and Meyer made it stand as he retired the Wolves in order in the home half of the frame. The gamed ended on an interference call when the umpire ruled the batter leaned into a pitch. Brian Trigg had two hits in the game. The Jays played error free ball highlighted by Austin Finder in right field who cut down a runner at the plate in the fourth and made a tremendous diving catch near the fence in the seventh. Washington improves to 14-11 while the Wolves end the season with a 19-8. The Jays advance to the championship game Wednesday at 4:15.
