La Russa Inducted Into Hall

Three managers were inducted into Baseball's Hall of Fame on Sunday in Tony La Russa, Bobby Cox and Joe Torre. La Russa won three World Series titles, with the Cardinals in 2006 and 2011 and one with the A's in 1989 after starting his career with the White Sox in 1979. La Russa ranks third in all-time managerial wins with 2,728 and carried a .544 winning percentage with the Cardinals over 16 seasons.

The shootings at Emmanuel AME Church in Charleston, South Carolina, however, stands out for two main reasons.

It involved race, and it was done it a church.
