Martin Kaymer continues to maintain a comfortable margin at the U.S. Open, leading the tournament by five shots. The German, who's currently at 8-under par after shooting a 72 on Saturday, entered the third round at Pinehurst with a 6-shot lead. His total of 130 was the lowest 36-hole score in championship history, breaking Rory McIlroy's mark of 131 set at Congressional in 2011. Rickie Fowler and Erik Compton are tied for second at three-under.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is State Champion Wrestler Dalton Voyles from Pacific High School. Dalton won the class 3 title at 182 pounds with a 6-2 decision over Zach Courtoise of Kearney Saturday at the University of Missouri-Columbia. It caps off a tremendous season for Dalton with a 56-2 record. Dalton, who is very good on his feet, took control early in the bout in securing the win over Courtoise.

Paul Stastny netted the game-winner with 5:40 to play to give the Blues a 2-1 win over the Oilers at Rexall Place. Dmitrij Jaskin found the back of the net as well and Brian Elliot had 21 saves. The victory was St. Louis's fourth straight on the road. Ben Scrivens gave up both goals on 27 shots for Edmonton, which has dropped five of its last seven. Justin Schultz scored the Oilers' lone goal in the loss.
