Freese To Make Second Straight Start Tonight

The promotion of Kolten Wong has pushed Cardinals third baseman David Freese primarily into a bench role, but the 2011 World Series MVP is still getting his shot at playing time. According to the "Post-Dispatch," Freese will start a second straight game tonight after playing last night's game in Milwaukee. Wong had been starting the majority of games at second base, pushing Matt Carpenter to third and Freese to the bench. Manager Mike Matheny says Freese has handled the situation like an absolute pro.
