Alex Oriakhi added 15 points and 10 boards for Missouri (8-1), which is off to an 8-1 start for the third consecutive season. Stefan Jankovic donated 14 points. Missouri has won 71 straight home games against non-conference opponents. Robert Covington and Jordan Cyphers had 12 and 11 points, respectively, for Tennessee State (4-6), which had a three-game winning streak snapped.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Junior Basketball Player Hailey Diestelkamp with the Owensville Dutchgirls. She recently became the all-time scoring leader at Owensville High School surpassing Katie Davis. Hailey played volleyball her first two years of high school, but after suffering an injury playing basketball last summer, she decided to focus on basketball this year. Hailey runs track in the spring.

Saint Louis erased a nine-point second half deficit and had a shot to win it late, but fell 60-56 against UMass Saturday in a thrilling Atlantic 10 Conference game at Chaifetz Arena. It was the fourth loss in a row for the Billikens, who fall to 9-12 overall and 1-7 in league play. UMass improves to 12-9 overall and 5-3 in the A-10. The Billikens had the ball down by two with the shot clock off.
