One NCAA Tournament bid was on the line Wednesday as Bucknell won its fourth
Patriot League Tournament title with a 64-56 triumph over Lafayette. Joe
Willman tallied 14 points and eight boards for the top-seeded Bison
(28-5), who will head to the NCAA Tournament for the sixth time to join the
1987, 1989, 2005, 2006 and 2011 teams.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Senior Legion Baseball Player Spencer Juergens from Washington Post 218. As a pitcher, Spencer is currently 6-0 with 32 strike outs and only four walks. He's given up seven runs, three earned over 36 innings and his ERA is .736. As a hitter, Spencer's average is .500 with 14 rbi's and 11 runs scored. In 44 official at bats, Spencer has struck out just five times with two walks.

Over the course of the past 16 years doing commentary on air and in print, there have sadly been many mass shootings and many predictable politicized reactions.

The shootings at Emmanuel AME Church in Charleston, South Carolina, however, stands out for two main reasons.

It involved race, and it was done it a church.
