Cards Sweep Nats

The Cardinals put up a three-spot in the first inning against Stephen Strasburg and went on to beat the Nationals 4-2 in D.C. Yadier Molina singled in two and Daniel Descalso and Matt Holliday also plated runs as St. Louis swept the three-game series. Jaime Garcia pitched five-and-two-thirds innings of one-run ball for his second win. The Birds return home to play Pittsburgh starting Friday.
