Cards Continue Series In Milwaukee

The Cardinals continue their three-game series with the Brewers tonight in Milwaukee. St. Louis sends Shelby Miller to the mound as he looks to record his first win of the year after starting 0-and-2. The Brew Crew counters with Marco Estrada. First pitch is set for 7:10.

Lance Lynn struck out 11 over seven innings of shutout ball as the Cardinals blanked the Brewers 4-0 at Miller Park last night. St. Louis ended Milwaukee's nine-game win streak. Jhonny Peralta hit a solo homer while Jon Jay added a three-run blast as the Redbirds won their third straight.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Junior Basketball Player Hailey Diestelkamp with the Owensville Dutchgirls. She recently became the all-time scoring leader at Owensville High School surpassing Katie Davis. Hailey played volleyball her first two years of high school, but after suffering an injury playing basketball last summer, she decided to focus on basketball this year. Hailey runs track in the spring.
