Cards Bounce Braves

Adam Wainwright continued his strong season leading the Cardinals to a 7-1 win over the Braves in the finale of a three-game series at Turner Field. Wainwright improved to 6-and-2, allowing one run in eight innings with six strikeouts. Matt Holliday had three hits and three RBI for St. Louis, which took two of three from Atlanta.

The Cardinals make the final stop on their three-city road trip this weekend in Pittsburgh. They open a three-game series with the Pirates tomorrow night at PNC Park. Michael Wacha is slated to start for St. Louis, while Pittsburgh counters with Francisco Liriano.

On March 24, 2015, Lufthansa Airlines pilot Andreas Lubitz steered a planeful of passengers into the French Alps, killing 150 people in a grisly act of murder/suicide.

The logical first question the world is asking is why? We ask this not only to make some sort of rational sense out of the irrational act, but also so that we can try to prevent something like it from happening again.
