Cardinals Fly Past Fish

Matt Holliday and Matt Adams each doubled in a run as the Cardinals went on to a 4-1 win over the Marlins in St. Louis. Allen Craig also doubled in a run and added a sac-fly for the Cards, who have won two out of three after dropping four-of-five. Jake Westbrook tossed seven innings of one-run ball to improve to 5-and-3 while Edward Mujica notched his 22nd save. Jacob Turner surrendered four runs in six innings to fall to 2-and-1 for Miami. Logan Morrison popped a solo homer for the Fish, who had won eight out of ten coming in.

The same holds true for those who sum up the plight of impoverished black communities as "that's how those people are."
