Caps Acquire Halak From Sabres

Ex Blues goalie Jaroslav Halak is on the move again. The Washington Capitals acquired the veteran netminder from the Buffalo Sabres before Wednesday's trade deadline. The Sabres just traded for Halak in a multi-player swap with St. Louis last Friday. The 28-year-old did not appear in a game for Buffalo after going 24-9-and-4 with a 2.23 goals-against average and four shutouts in 40 games with St. Louis.

August 9, 2014, will forever be marked in the history books as the date Michael Brown was shot by a Ferguson police officer.

It is the aftermath of that event, however, which history will forever remember. The protesters, the looters, the agitators, the Hands Up Don't Shoot movement, the dramatic announcement of the grand jury, the buildings up in flames. In the process, the community and image of Ferguson was destroyed.
