Brewers Best Cardinals In Ten

Jeff Bianchi's two-out, two-run single in the 10th inning led the Milwaukee Brewers to a 6-4 win over the St. Louis Cardinals. The big hit came after the Cards had loaded the bases in the bottom of the ninth but could not push across the winning run. Jim Henderson set the Cardinals down in order in the bottom of the 10th to pick up his eighth save of the season. Jean Segura and Ryan Braun each had three hits and two ruins batted in for the Brewers. John Axford pitched one-and-a-third innings for his first win of the season. Matt Carpenter drove in two while Jon Jay and Pete Kozma each had an RBI for the Cardinals, who had won four of five. Joe Kelly was saddled with the loss to drop to 0-and-2.

Alex Collins ran for 130 yards and three touchdowns as the Missouri Tigers fell to Arkansas, 28-3, Friday afternoon at Reynolds Razorback Stadium. The defense for Mizzou could have hardly started any better, as they allowed positive yardage on just one of Arkansas' first eight plays. In all, five of those eight plays went for negative yardage, including a Ricky Hatley sack to give the defense two three-and-outs to start the game.
