Blues handle Avalanche again; Miller wins 4th straight

The St. Louis Blues continued their mastery of the Colorado Avalanche with a 2-1 win Saturday at Pepsi Center, their third victory in as many games this season. St. Louis (43-14-6) stretched its lead to five points on third-place Colorado (41-18-5) in the Central Division (92-87) and has a game in hand. This game was a lot more competitive than the first two, which the Blues won by a combined score of 11-4.

OFF THE CUFF with Diane Jones

August 9, 2014, will forever be marked in the history books as the date Michael Brown was shot by a Ferguson police officer.

It is the aftermath of that event, however, which history will forever remember. The protesters, the looters, the agitators, the Hands Up Don't Shoot movement, the dramatic announcement of the grand jury, the buildings up in flames. In the process, the community and image of Ferguson was destroyed.
