Blackhawks Down Blues, Get Back In Series

Corey Crawford stopped all 34 shots he faced to power the Blackhawks in a 2-0 win over the Blues in Game Three from United Center. Ryan Miller made 23 stops for St. Louis. The Blues still lead the series two games to one. The Blackhawks will host Game Four tomorrow.

Blues captain David Backes was not in the lineup against the Blackhawks last night. Backes sustained an upper-body injury on a hit from Chicago defenseman Brent Seabrook on Saturday. That hit landed Seabrook a three-game suspension. Backes made the trip, but did not play.

August 9, 2014, will forever be marked in the history books as the date Michael Brown was shot by a Ferguson police officer.

It is the aftermath of that event, however, which history will forever remember. The protesters, the looters, the agitators, the Hands Up Don't Shoot movement, the dramatic announcement of the grand jury, the buildings up in flames. In the process, the community and image of Ferguson was destroyed.
