Arizona Retains Top Spot In Latest Poll

Arizona remains number-one and Missouri moves up in the "USA Today" top-25 college basketball poll The 15-and-0 Wildcats received 30-of-32 first-place votes to retain the top spot for the fifth straight week. Syracuse is still number-two, followed by Ohio State. Each got one first-place vote. Michigan State and Wisconsin are tied for fourth. Wichita State, Iowa State, Louisville, Baylor and Villanova round out the top-10. The Missouri tigers moved up four spots to number 21 this week. UConn and North Carolina dropped out of the poll.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Freshman Basketball Player Cassidy Moss from St. Francis Borgia Regional High School in Washington. Cassidy was named the Most Valuable Player of the Sullivan Tournament last week and was an important part of Borgia's run to the title. She is averaging 15 points and 2.5 rebounds, more than three assists and two steals per game.
