EXTREMISTS OR CANARIES IN THE COAL MINE?

Audio:

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, President Obama and others have labeled Tea Party congressmen as extremists, going so far as to call them "terrorists holding the government hostage".

The reality is, however, that the House of Representatives has every right and responsibility to be involved and have a voice in the process of working out our debt and spending issues.

Are they really extremists? Or are they canaries in the coal mine, daring to state the obvious and stand behind it?

OFF THE CUFF with Diane Jones

1 week 2 days ago

On Saturday, September 6, our family lost a dear friend to a car accident. Listeners know her as Lexi the Impulse Puppy. It surprised us a bit just how much the loss struck us--a tribute to just how much that dog loved us--and just how much we loved that dog. Dogs are not the same as people, but they certainly tap into the very best of us.
