The James Strong Show

KLPW's James Strong

An eclectic mix of talk, commentary and call-ins with James Strong, perfect for a Saturday.

A self-proclaimed talk radio junkie, James Strong was listening to talk radio when the other kids were listening to music. "Anyone can spin a record, I wanted to hear what the jock had to say".

During the week, James travels the world and shares his experiences with the people of East Central Missouri on "The James Strong Show", Saturdays 11 to 1 on KLPW AM. "I try to leave the hard hitting, life changing issues to the big boys. Let G. Gordon Liddy and Michael Reagan change the world. We're going to have fun!"

When not on the road, James lives in West St. Charles County. His family consists of a trophy wife, four handsome boys and a barn cat.

OFF THE CUFF with Diane Jones

It came as a shock to a lot of people to find out that the contract for the Union license office, which has been operated by the Union Chamber of Commerce since the 1970's, was being turned over to a for-profit company based out of Jefferson City.

What happened? It's a classic case of two all-too-common phenomena in the world of government--unintended consequences and the revolving door.
