Missouri Governor Jay Nixon and Republican Challenger Dave Spence are at odds over job growth in the state. Speaking at a forum over the weekend of September 22, 2012, Nixon said the state’s economy is growing, but Spence countered saying that Missouri needs “Bold initiatives” to fix the economy, including right-to-work and worker’s compensation reform.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is State Champion Wrestler Dalton Voyles from Pacific High School. Dalton won the class 3 title at 182 pounds with a 6-2 decision over Zach Courtoise of Kearney Saturday at the University of Missouri-Columbia. It caps off a tremendous season for Dalton with a 56-2 record. Dalton, who is very good on his feet, took control early in the bout in securing the win over Courtoise.
