The Royals could have played with just two players and been fine in a 5-0 shutout of the Cardinals from Kauffman Stadium. Chris Young fired six innings of six-hit ball to improve to 4-and-0. Young walked two and struck out two as the Royals picked up their fourth straight win. Kendrys Morales took care of the offense with a five RBI night. Morales belted a three-run and a two-run home run in the first and third innings.
