Shelby Miller

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Union Softball Player Shelby Miller. The senior shortstop finished the season with a .462 batting average, .500 on-base percentage, .681 slugging percentage, three triples, 12-doubles and 24-rbi. Shelby was a four year starter at shortstop and finished her senior season with only five errors. Miller plans to attend college and play softball at Hannibal LaGrange.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is State Champion Wrestler Dalton Voyles from Pacific High School. Dalton won the class 3 title at 182 pounds with a 6-2 decision over Zach Courtoise of Kearney Saturday at the University of Missouri-Columbia. It caps off a tremendous season for Dalton with a 56-2 record. Dalton, who is very good on his feet, took control early in the bout in securing the win over Courtoise.

Johnathan Williams, III and Namon Wright scored 10 points each, but Georgia strengthened its NCAA tournament hopes with a runaway 68-44 win over Missouri on Saturday. Missouri (8-21, 2-14 Southeastern Conference) couldn't manage a second straight win after ending a 13-game losing streak by beating Florida 64-52 on Tuesday night.
