Washington Annexation Workshops

A Washington annexation workshop was held at the city council meeting during the week of October 22, 2012. The council held the workshop to discuss suggestions and questions that council members raised since the annexation meeting in September. The city council decided that future meetings would be more productive if they were split up into sections. The November 26th meeting will discuss the western annexation area. The January 28th meeting will discuss the eastern portion, and the southern portion will be discussed on the February 25th meeting. After the final meeting, the city will come up with a plan on intent as to whether the annexation will go before voters or not.
