Wal-Mart Panty Thief

A Lonedell man was busted in the Union Wal-Mart stealing women’s underwear and two bottles of sexual enhancement stimulant. Store employees reported the 21 year old man was spotted in the woman’s underwear department concealing several pairs of lingerie in his coat. The employees then watched as he proceeded to the pharmaceuticals department where he pocketed the stimulant. The man paid for a soda and left the store where police were waiting. He allowed Union Police to search his vehicle where they found a substance believed to be methamphetamine. He was booked at the police station for stealing, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Sophomore Soccer Player Anna Merseal from St. Clair High School. Anna currently leads the team with 15 goals and nine assists. Last game out, Anna scored leading the Bulldogs to a 2-0 win over Fatima. Coach Tim Isgrig says Anna has worked hard to improve her game in the past year. Her teammates respect her and look to her for leadership. Anna is also a very good student. Current GPA is 3.8.

A late surge by the Cardinals gave them a 6-1 win over the Reds at Busch Stadium. Yadier Molina hit a three-run double in the seventh inning to break the tie. The Cards put up two more runs in the eighth to secure the win. Michael Wacha pitched seven innings of one-run ball for St. Louis to improve to 2-and-0. The Cards have won three straight.
