Veterans May Now Obtain Veteran Designation on their Missouri Driver's License

Senate bill 470 went into effect this week. Veterans may now obtain veteran designation on their Missouri driver’s license or state ID card. This means they will no longer have to carry around their DD-214 cards. The designation is a ribbon with the word “Veteran” and will be printed on the back of the card. If a veteran needs assistance in obtaining a copy of their DD-214, they are encouraged to call 1-866-VET-INFO.
