Union Police Trying to Return Stolen Items

The Union Police are now looking for more people to come forward to claim stolen items after two suspects were taken into custody this week. The Union Police Department recovered multiple items from several thefts in the union and Washington areas. 20 year old Kurtis Moritz and 21 year old Cody Simcox were arrested after confessing to stealing a laptop from a vehicle in Union. According the victim, the vehicle had been in a closed garage that is attached to the residence. Additionally, several other items were recovered.

Among those items were:

1 pair of Coach eye glasses and case
1 hunting bag with assorted hunting equipment.
Assorted power tools.

If you are missing any of these items, please contact the police department. They may be returned upon a full description, and or proof of ownership.

ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Senior Golfer Brad Carpenter from Washington High School. In a recent match against Fort Zumwalt South at Wolf Hollow, Brad carded a six under par 29 to lead the team to a 148-176 win over the Bulldogs. Brad will attend Missouri State University in Springfield on a golf and academic scholarship. He started playing golf at the age of 12 and developed an immediate love for the game.

I am a woman. I would be more than happy to have more money in my paycheck. Too bad the Paycheck Fairness Act won't do that for me. Who wants "equality" if it comes because everyone makes less money?
