Union Police Searching For Suspect

The Union Police Department is asking for your help finding a suspect. 18 year old Spencer L. Grimes was involved in the shooting and car chase that started in the Union City Park last week. Spencer Grimes is described as a white male, about 6 foot – 180 pounds. The second suspect was previously identified as Dakota Lee Hopper of Lonedell, who was charged with Robbery is 1st Degree, Assault 2nd Degree, and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. He is still in custody in the Franklin County Jail on a 75 thousand dollar bond. Any individuals that have information about the whereabouts of Spencer Grimes are urged to contact the Union Police Department at 636-583-3700.

A.J. Pierzynski appears to have found a new home. The catcher is expected to join the St. Louis Cardinals according to the "Post-Dispatch." Pierzynski was released by the Boston Red Sox a few weeks ago. The Cards are expected to be without Yadier Molina for another six-to-ten weeks after thumb surgery. The 37-year-old Pierzynski hit .254 with four homers in 72 games with Boston prior to his departure.
