Union Police Search for Smash and Grab Thief

The search continues for a suspect who has been breaking car windows in Union after another vehicle was broken into Tuesday. Union Police took a property damage report from Booker Foundations who had a flatbed truck damaged on Melissa Court. The vehicle's driver's side window was broken out by an unknown item; however nothing was reported stolen from the truck. According to police, there were approximately 10-20 property damage reports of similar nature over the weekend throughout the city. Union police are advising people to be on the lookout for suspicious activity.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Garrett Leimkuehler, Sophomore Quarterback for the Hermann Bearcats. Garrett has completed 58% of his passes, 22 of 38 for 441 yards, six touchdowns and two interceptions. He has also carried the ball 36 times for 371 yards for 13 touchdowns and he is averaging more than 10 yards per carry.

On Saturday, September 6, our family lost a dear friend to a car accident. Listeners know her as Lexi the Impulse Puppy. It surprised us a bit just how much the loss struck us--a tribute to just how much that dog loved us--and just how much we loved that dog.
