Union Police Department Respond to Several Calls about Missing Items from Vehicles

The Union Police Department has been responding to quite a few calls regarding missing items from vehicles. Some of these vehicles have been parked in streets and others in driveways. Earlier in the week, a Union man had his wallet and a lever action, Marlin 450 caliber rifle stolen out of his vehicle. The driver’s door of all the vehicles was left unlocked. In fact, Union Police say that all of these thefts have been from vehicles that have been left unlocked. The Union Police Department would like to encourage its citizens to lock their vehicles at all times. This alone will prevent most thefts from occurring.
