Torch Run Coming Through Franklin County

Runners with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department and the Union Police Department will be participating in the Torch Run tomorrow. The Eureka Police Department will pass the torch to Franklin County Police around 8:00am this morning. County deputies and Union Police will then run for 16 miles to raise money for the Special Olympics. Franklin County law enforcement has been running in the Torch Run for about 10 years and all the money benefits the Special Olympics. If you would like to donate to the Special Olympics you can drop off money at the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department in Union.
