Sullivan Smash and Grab

Sullivan police are asking for the public’s help following a smash and grab crime spree. Early Tuesday morning, the Sullivan Police Department responded to the Wilcox Jewelry store located on West Main Street after the owner had arrived and discovered a front window had been broken out and several items were stolen. About 20 minutes later, police discovered a window broken out and 8 guitars stolen from the Westgate Music store located a few blocks away on North Clark Street. While responding to that theft, another front window was found broken out at the nearby Reboot Computers and More computer store on East Euclid Street where 5 laptops were stolen. Evidence was located at the various scenes and surveillance video is being reviewed by investigators. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Sullivan Police Department.
